Video artist Jefferson Pinder is filming a new artwork about strength and endurance. Titled Relay, this project is inspired by the tradition of Somali long-distance runners, and will give viewers a glimpse of Somali-Americans using the action of running as a metaphor for labor in a transformative journey.
