Watchtowers
Calling to mind tree trunks, three wooden towers will each house a 3-D photograph of a natural scene. Visitors peer into a pair of holes in the towers, which glow from within and appear to be the “eyes” of the structure. The viewer sees the 3-D photograph lit from within each tower. The experience is surprising as well as immersive – the 3-D images are remarkably realistic and viewers often feel they are transported to that space. The mechanism is very similar to the Viewmaster toy that many of us had as children.
