OCULUS

Dive into ground zero of our new Cultural District with an OCULUS perspective that includes an interactive live broadcast storefront performance by Venus DeMars, hand-drawn visual projections by artists Emily Kaplan and Brian Matthew Hart, an illuminated modern dance by Jaime Carrera under a lit glass chandelier installation by Karl Unnasch, live street musicians, and an eclectic Made Here local art walk with the energetic Joan Vorderbruggen. All are sure to “Spark” the night! This large-scale collaboration converges on the corner of 10th and Hennepin Avenue in the lot of the former National Camera Exchange building in downtown Minneapolis with major league projections onto the southeast wall of the Orpheum Theatre. Additional artists include: Jaime Carrera, Karl Unnasch, and buskers.
